Practice Update

With the ongoing Covid19 pandemic we will be continuing with our telephone triage system and remote consulting to continue to protect our community by reducing the spread of infection.  This system has enabled us to manage the majority of consultations remotely and has been very well received. It will remain for the foreseeable future. We will also continue to use the large Marquee in our car park for many procedures to ensure our patients and staff are treated in the safest possible way.

Following national guidance if we advise you to attend the surgery you will be required to wear a face covering.

Please continue to use our website to contact us and to gain medical advice.  The website has been updated to include a tool called e-consult which all patients can use to tell us about their conditions and receive prompt advice and assistance without the need to call the surgery.

In order to help us manage any acute or chronic medical problems we are recommending that our patients purchase their own observation kit comprised of:-

  • Thermometer
  • Pulse and Oxygen saturation probe
  • Blood pressure machine [battery operated preferably with arm cuff]

They are all available to be purchased online and some available for loan from the surgery if needed.

It would help with demand and would reduce the risk of infection if patients purchased their own equipment where possible.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and cooperation during these unprecedented times.
