Free Mental Health Support Now Available for Young People in Coventry & Warwickshire

We would like to make our patients aware of Kooth — a free, safe, and anonymous online mental health and wellbeing service available to all young people aged 11–25 across Coventry and Warwickshire, with no referral needed.

Commissioned by NHS Coventry and Warwickshire ICB and local councils, Kooth provides immediate access to professional mental health support and self-help resources, all from a phone, tablet, or computer.

Young people can sign up directly at www.kooth.com — there is no waiting list, no GP referral required, and no cost involved.

What does Kooth offer?

Text-based one-to-one sessions with qualified emotional wellbeing practitioners — drop in or book ahead.
📖 Wellbeing articles & magazines
24/7 access to content written by the Kooth team and other young people covering mental health and everyday life.
🤝 Peer support forums
Moderated discussion boards where young people can share experiences in a safe, supported space.
📓 Self-help tools
Mood trackers, daily journals, goal-setting activities, and mini-wellbeing exercises available around the clock.
🕛 Counsellor availability
Qualified counsellors and emotional wellbeing practitioners are available:
Monday – Friday: 12:00 noon – 10:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
365 days a year

Kooth is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and was co-designed with local young people. It is completely anonymous — young people do not need to give their full name or any personal details to access support.
