Free Mental Health Support Now Available for Young People in Coventry & Warwickshire
We would like to make our patients aware of Kooth — a free, safe, and anonymous online mental health and wellbeing service available to all young people aged 11–25 across Coventry and Warwickshire, with no referral needed.
Commissioned by NHS Coventry and Warwickshire ICB and local councils, Kooth provides immediate access to professional mental health support and self-help resources, all from a phone, tablet, or computer.
Young people can sign up directly at www.kooth.com — there is no waiting list, no GP referral required, and no cost involved.
What does Kooth offer?
Monday – Friday: 12:00 noon – 10:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Kooth is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and was co-designed with local young people. It is completely anonymous — young people do not need to give their full name or any personal details to access support.
If you have a young person at home who may be struggling with their mental health, or if you are a young person yourself, we encourage you to explore what Kooth has to offer. It is a particularly valuable resource for those who may find it difficult to talk face to face, or who need support outside of normal working hours.
